Busworld Brussels will not be only about buses or coaches. New techniques will be demonstrated, such as from Herman Elektronika from Czech Republic which is specialized in “CAR 2 Infrastructure communication” and “CAR 2 CAR communication”, based on ETSI ITS-G5 standards. Herman delivers units for cars as well as a base unit for controller of cross preferences and is one of the “shadow” participants of C-ROADS projects where it won implementation of the units to the highways D1.

Busworld Europe is coming up. Spanish bus builder Indcar is celebrating the 25'th edition of Busworld with the introduction of the Strada e-City Low Entry, a 100% electric urban minibus which earlier this year took part in the prestigious Minibus Euro Test in Madrid.
Toyota Motor Corporation has updated its "Sora1" Fuel Cell Electrified Vehicle bus (FCEV bus). The improvements are to be found in the 'preventive safety performance' through the use of ITS functions (ITS: Intelligent Transport Systems). Additionally, the Sora's transportation capacity, speed, and punctuality have been expanded. Soraan is an acronym for Sky, Ocean, River, Air, representing the earth's water cycle.Read article
ACOUSTIC WARNING SYSTEM IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES MANDATORY
Since July 1, 2019 it is mandatory to build in an acoustic warning system in electric vehicles. This decision is a result of new EU legislation. It requires that the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) be installed in newly registered hybrid, electric and fuel cell vehicles - including trucks and buses - for the protection of other road users. In the EU, the warning sound is mandatory up to a speed of 20 km/h. The legislation describes in great detail how an AVAS warning may and may not sound. This applies, for example, to the minimum and maximum noise production, and to certain noise criteria.Read article
