For the first time in the history of Tajikistan, the Tajik-Turkish joint venture 'Akia Avesto Automotive Industry' participates in the international exhibition in the field of bus technology, accessories and services: Busworld Central Asia 2019. Akia Avesto produces and assembles Turkish Akia buses in Tajikistan.

One of the most interesting exhibitions of the fair held in Almaty was in charge of the Tajik-Turkish joint venture Akia Avesto Avtomativ Industry, which presented 3 buses: an 8-meter unit with rear engine, a 12-meter urban bus and a double decker bus for intercity trafic. The buses comply with Euro 5 standards, as is mandatory in Turkey and the Central Asian region, and are manufactured with engines, gearboxes and suspensions from companies known as Mercedes-Benz and ZF, and have a special guarantee of high quality. In addition, the buses presented at the fair were equipped with an automatic fee collection system with installed factory validators.

The Tajik-Turkish company Akia Avesto Automotive Industry was founded in January 2018 and operates in accordance with the investment agreement between the Government of Tajikistan, LLC Avesto Group and the Turkish company Ulasim IC VE DIS TICARET Anonim Sirketi.

Akia Avesto is the first and only company in the Republic of Tajikistan that manufactures buses according to international standards. The production capacity is 300 units per year, divided over 5 types of buses and coaches.
