NEW 15" MONITOR FOR MIRROREYE MIRROR REPLACEMENT SYSTEM

NEW 15 Stoneridge-Orlaco introduces a new 15” monitor for its MirrorEye mirror replacement system. This new 15” monitor is designed for coaches and gives a better view with larger vehicles. The larger screen at non driver side increases the situational awareness next to the drivers vehicle. Also Stoneridge-Orlaco has received the PACE 2020 Award from Automotive News for the MirrorEye Camera Monitor System (CMS). This is the third industry award MirrorEye has received since October of 2019.

BRAUNSCHWEIG PURCHASES TELESTE PASSENGER INFORMATION SYSTEM Finish Teleste Corporation received an order for delivery of a passenger information system and information display deployment from Braunschweig Transit Authority (Regionalverband Großraum Braunschweig) in Germany together with the company’s local subsidiary iqu Systems. The order includes harnessing the entire tram network and selected bus stops in the city of Braunschweig with 243 monochrome LED displays as well as Teleste’s passenger information system for their management.

UTA EXPANDS SPANISH NETWORK THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH REPSOL

UTA is partnering with Spanish multi-energy company Repsol to expand its network of acceptance points in Spain. UTA customers can now use their fuel cards at 80 Repsol filling stations at key locations for road transporters across the country, with additional acceptance points to be added next year. Repsol currently has around 3,500 stations in Spain, covering more than 30 percent of the Spanish network.

Last Busworld in October 2019 was said it would appear this summer and now Mercedes-Benz is keeping its promise. Shortly after its market launch, the new articulated bus will be available with new battery technologies including solid-state batteries.
