YUTONG CELEBRATES ITS 500TH DELIVERY IN THE UK
Yutong dealer Pelican in the United Kingdom has delivered its 500th vehicle in the United Kingdom. Just before the start of Busworld Yutong held the handover ceremony during a very special occasion, the 100th anniversary of Pelican. MEGABUS RECEIVES 6 PLAXTON PANORAMA DOUBLE DECK COACHES
Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) has delivered six Plaxton Panorama double deck coaches to Megabus, one of the UK’s coach operators.
Offering 87 seats, the coaches will be used on Megabus services between England and Scotland. The new Plaxton Panorama coaches introduce a new interior for Megabus, enhancing the passenger experience and complementing other recent innovations such as the option for passengers to reserve the most popular seats at the upstairs front and around tables on the lower deck.
X12 CUMMINS COACH ENGINE EURO VI PHASE-D
At Busworld in Brussels Cummins introduced the new X12 engine with up to 480 hp (360 kW) output for powering full size touring and intercity coaches. This new X12 is certified to the stringent Euro VI Phase-D stage and has a new architecture eliminating the need for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR).Read article

The first day at Busworld is always the Busworld Award Gala Evening, this time at the Brussels Expo. A quick overview of the winners. The Coach of the Year 2020 award was presented to Rudi Kuchta and Jan Aichinger of MAN Bus by Tom Terjesen, president of the International Coach and Bus of the Year Jury. This consists of trade journalists from 22 countries. The Lion's Coach has made a major evolution in its existence. The current generation is equipped with a Euro 6d D2676 470 hp version of the 13-liter engine and a Tipmatic robotised gearbox.Read article
