NAVYA AUTONOM CAB IN PARIS Navya has unveiled in Paris its Autonom Cab, The cab, designed to be completely autonomous, comes without a cockpit, steering wheel or pedals and can carry up to six passengers. It is capable of speeds up to 90km/h, but will average towards 50km/h to conform with local speed limits.

GLOBAL CONTACTLESS TRANSIT PAYMENT PROGRAM FROM VISA Credit card issuer Visa recently launched a new program designed to accelerate the use of debit, credit and pre-paid accounts at the fare gate or on a bus reader, speeding up and creating a more convenient experience for mass transit commuters worldwide. Background of this development was a Visa study which had found that transit agencies spend an average of 14.5 cents of every physical dollar collected, compared to only 4.2 cents for every digital dollar.

EGGED ORDERS MORE MAN CHASSIS

EGGED ORDERS MORE MAN CHASSIS Egged, the largest bus company in Israel, has just recieved 50 additional chassis from MAN, bringing the total number of bus chassis from this manufacturer in the Egged fleet to 75. The A22-type chassis will serve as the basis for city buses with a length of 12 metres. The bodies will be fitted by local body manufacturer Haargaz.
