Busworld India partners with public and private operators associations
The 8th edition of the biannual professional bus and coach exhibition Busworld India will be powered by the two major bus operator associations in India: ASRTU - Association of State Road Transport Undertakings, the official national body of public transport operators in India and BOCI - Bus Operators Confederation of India, an association that represents the private bus and coach operators.
Both associations will organise their annual conference at Busworld India, inviting their members to Bangalore from the whole of India to attend the congress. The delegates will combine the conferences with an interesting visit of the Busworld exhibition where they can see the latest bus and coach models and other interesting products and services that relate to their business.

EUROPE’S FIRST BYD ELECTRIC ARTICS FOR NORWAY
Two 18m buses are running on route 31 and 31E, Norway's heaviest duty routes carrying 15m customers a year, around 50,000 a day.
Other electric buses are on trial in Norway but, unlike them, the BYD articulated ebuses do not use opportunity charging via pantographs and street facilities, but charge at the depot.
BENGALURU BMTC TO ACQUIRE 150 ELECTRIC BUSES
The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has decided to acquire 150 electric buses on lease basis soon. Karnataka’s transport minister H M Revanna said that the tender process for availing services of the electric buses would be completed soon and the buses would be inducted to BMTC fleet.Read article
VOLGABUS-VLADIMIR ELECTRIC BUS PLANT OPERATIONAL
The Bakulin Motors Group has opened its new electric bus factory Volgabus-Vladimir in Vladimir region on 21 December, as reported by Tass. The facility will manufacture large-class electric and gas engine buses under the brand name of Volgabus.Read article
