VOLVO AND NTU OF SINGAPORE TO TRIAL AUTONOMOUS ELECTRIC BUSES
Volvo Buses and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore have signed a cooperation agreement on a research and development program for autonomous electric buses. EUROPE’S FIRST BYD ELECTRIC ARTICS FOR NORWAY
Two 18m buses are running on route 31 and 31E, Norway's heaviest duty routes carrying 15m customers a year, around 50,000 a day.
Other electric buses are on trial in Norway but, unlike them, the BYD articulated ebuses do not use opportunity charging via pantographs and street facilities, but charge at the depot.

STUTTGARTER TAKES DELIVERY OF FIVE CITARO HYBRID ARTICULATED BUSES
The first new Citaro hybrid buses recently left the factory and will gradually go into service with Stuttgarter Strassenbahnen AG (SSB). They will be used to carry passengers on inner-city routes in Stuttgart.
