MERCEDES-BENZ ELECTRIC CHARGING STATION AT MANNHEIM BUS PLANT Daimler Buses has equipped its Mannheim bus plant with a central charging station for the fully-electric eCitaro. It offers the eCitaro that leaves the factory and is ready for the hand over the possibility to be fully charged. It has a flexible and modular infrastructure concept for the relevant charging solutions: cable, pantograph and charging rail.

NEW FUEL CELL BUS ORDER FOR VAN HOOL As part of the concession for the northern part of the Netherlands earlier won by Dutch operator Qbuzz, it now has placed an order for 20 fuel cell buses at Belgium manufacturer Van Hool. Also the transport authority OV-bureau Groningen Drenthe has granted Shell the order to build a hydrogen filling station in the city Groningen as well the contract to supply the hydrogen.

HELIOX TO DELIVER CHARGER INFRASTRUCTURE FOR E-BUS FLEET ESWE WIESBADEN Heliox has been granted the project for ESWE Verkehr Wiesbaden as a subcontractor of “Daimler Buses”. The first phase of the electrical bus fleet of ESWE will be 56 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro buses with an option for more. Heliox will provide the charging infrastructure and will be responsible for the electrical installation and medium voltage grid connection.
