ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO ENSURE PASSENGER DISTANCING AND SAFETY Alstom has launched a new version of Mastria, a multimodal supervision and mobility orchestration solution, that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide operators and transport authorities with enhanced passenger flow management tools. The solution developed to manage passenger flows in trains and stations, should allow operators to adapt, easily and in real time, their offer to the various social distancing and public gathering requirements that have arisen due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

COVID-19: PUBLIC TRANSPORT COMPANY ASKS TRAVELERS TO WALK To promote social distancing during coronavirus times, Swedish public transport company Västtrafik encourage people to walk instead of taking the bus. To do this Västtrafik has made a new version of the common tram and bus map for the city of Gothenburg, which shows the number of steps required to walk between bus and tram stops.

HEULIEZ BUS CELEBRATES 40 YEARS RORTHAIS FACTORY This year, Heuliez Bus is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its Rorthais site, which is part of the CNH Industrial Group since 2013. When it started in 1980, with its 8,000 m2 of workshops, the factory produced 300 units per year. 40 years later, the surface covered has more than tripled, the site has a runway test and all charging modes for electric vehicles. The capacity industrial is designed to be able to respond quickly to any change in cadence of the different models and can exceed 500 vehicles.

CAETANOBUS TO DELIVER TWO FUEL CELL H2.CITY GOLD IN GERMANY CaetanoBus delivers the first fuel cell bus to “The eFarm project”, a green hydrogen mobility project in Germany, providing hydrogen infrastructure from production and processing to fleet use. Two of the Caetanobus fuel cell buses will be delivered to Niebüll in Germany. The Caetano 12-meter hydrogen-powered buses will be operating on several scheduled service lines by Autokraft GmbH.
