JAPANESE COACH COMPANY BUILDS A MAZE WITH SIXTY COACHES Like all around the world coaches in Tokyo have come to a standstill. One coach company found an alternative use for its sixty coaches and formed a maze with them as part of a tour to a theme park. It are sightseeing buses from the company Hato Bus, one of Tokyo’s biggest coach operators. Due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, the company had to shut down all its usual tours for several months.

KEOLIS STARTS 5G AUTONOMOUS ELECTRIC VEHICLE TRIAL IN STOCKHOLM In Stockholm, Sweden, a new autonomous self-driving, electric minibus trial using 5G technology has started. The vehicle will be remote controlled and supervised using 5G. The trail is an initiative by Keolis in partnership with Urban ICT Arena, Telia, Ericsson Intel and T-engineering and will run from 24 September to 8 October 2020. The autonomous minibus will drive along a 1.6 km route and serve the National Museum of Science and Technology, the Maritime Museum, the Nordic Museum and Vasa Museum.

The bus is being developed by transport operator Transdev. The bus, which can transport more than 60 passengers, can travel up to 300 kilometres on one charge.
