The first and last mile system with EasyMile's autonomous shuttle
Earlier this year, Alstom and EasyMile - a high-tech start-up specialised in providing both software powering autonomous vehicles and smart mobility solutions - have signed a commercial partnership agreement aiming at joining their forces to provide integrated solutions for urban transportation.
Alstom, as a leader of urban turnkey solutions, will integrate the EasyMile vehicle into all infrastructure subsystems and services needed to operate efficiently the first and last mile connection. This new global transport offer will allow operators and municipalities to improve the attractiveness of their existing conventional transport network or to propose new services.
EasyMile's autonomous shuttle EZ10 provides shared driverless transportation for the last mile. EasyMile's electrical shuttles operate from a transport hub to a final destination within a precinct or confined area. EasyMile's shuttles transport up to 12 passengers. Since April 2015, the EZ10 has been deployed in more than 50 sites in 14 countries in Asia, North-America, Middle-East and Europe. The exceptional experience and lessons learnt through all these projects are continuously integrated in EasyMile's products and solutions.
The autonomous shuttle EZ10 will be displayed on our booth during the exhibit.
