Family business Voyages Vandivinit in Luxembourg receives 2 articulated Heuliez e-buses. Delivered for the first time in this configuration, these 18 m long full electric models are equipped with a 200-kW electric traction motor and a Li-ion NMCG battery system of 250 kWh for mixed used to provide an extended range.

The ceremony where the 2 articulated Heuliez e-buses were handed over was held at the Voyages Vandivinit depot, in the presence of Luc and Charel Vandivinit respectively owner and General Manager of the family business, Paul Mechele, Iveco Bus Sales Manager for Benelux and Nicolas Greco, Iveco Bus Sales Manager for Luxembourg.

The buses will be primarily charged in the depot using a Combo CCS 2 individual charging socket, they will also allow opportunity charging at terminal stops during the daily service, via a top down pantograph. These 3 doors e-buses can welcome 120 passengers (51 seated) and have several innovative features to improve comfort on board: platform to facilitate access for disabled people, USB port, folding seats, electric air conditioning and bi-mode heating. They run 200 km per day on Line 172 from the city of Frisange near the French border to the Kirchberg business district of Luxembourg city.

Voyages Vandivinit is a family business that exists now for three generations and operates on behalf of RGTR and AVL and provides cross-border transport between France and Luxembourg.
