145 CROSSWAY LE ENTERED SERVICE IN CZECH REPUBLIC
In and around the city of Pilsen in the Czech Republic 145 Iveco Bus Crossway LE enterd service. Iveco Bus delivered 145 new Crossway Low Entry to the Transport company Arriva Strední Chechy. These 10.8 m buses will start operating on the Pilsen area intercity transport network from June 14.
These 145 Crossway Low Entry are equipped with a Tector 7 engine of 320 hp, an automatic transmission and meet the latest active and passive safety regulations. They can accommodate 37 seated and 39 standing passengers. The Crossway has a lowered floor on the front part and the first two doors (1200 mm). It is also equipped with a mechanical ramp to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility and passengers with strollers. The buses are equipped with double glazing, individual air conditioning for the passenger and driver compartments, spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility and strollers, information panels, USB ports to charge mobile phones and 'stop' buttons in Braille. “These buses have been tested on our lines for some time, and our drivers are very satisfied with them", said Daniel Adamka, CEO of Arriva Transport Ceská Republika at the end of delivery and official vehicle registration in Dobříš. The buses are delivered through authorized dealers in the Czech Republic, Kar Group and Tezas Servis.
