Busworld Academy organizes this Thursday (9 April 2020) a webinar about 'How can governments contribute to the survival of bus and coach operators during and after a covid-19 crisis?'
The webinar starts at 3pm CET (9 am in Washington, 6.30 in Delhi).

Three topics will be discussed during the webinar: Economic and financial measures to keep bus & coach operators in business; Measures for keeping bus systems operational' Measures for keeping bus drivers and our staff safe.

The webinar is especially interesting for owners, planners and management staff of public transport companies, coach companies and national eand international federations.

Confirmed speakers: Prasanna Patwardhan (President BOCI), Anna Grönlund (deputy managing director of the Swedish Bus and Coach Federation) and Peter Pantuso (CEO & President ABA - American Bus Association).

Mr. Prasanna Keshav Patwardhan, President BOCI - Bus & Car Operators Confederation of India – a non-government, not-for-profit, Passenger Transport industry which plays a proactive role in India’s development process. Its members operate 1.5 million buses and coaches today on Indian roads.

Ms. Anna Grönlund is also Vice President CPT-IRU. As deputy managing director of the Swedish Bus and Coach Federation she represents the professional bus and coach industry in Sweden with nearly 400 unique member businesses as active members, representing 90% of the total bus and coach industry in Sweden. These companies collectively own in the order of 11,000 busses and coaches.

Mr. Peter Pantuso is in addition to his role as CEO at ABA, also serves as President of the National Bus Traffic Association and of the ABA Foundation. Under Peter’s leadership, the ABA has grown to become North America’s leading and largest motorcoach, tour and travel association, representing 3,800 members and 65 percent of all motorcoaches on the roads.
