Royal Beuk, one of the biggest coach companies in the Netherlands, is performing on a regular base funeral processions. Until now Royal Beuk provided its luxury blue coaches to transport family and friends of the deceased following the funeral car. After being regularly asked whether it was allowed to transport the deceased by coach surrounded by the family to a final resting place, Royal Beuk has taken the initiative to build a funeral coach in conjunction with Belgium coach manufacturer Van Hool.

The funeral coach is designed to carry the deceased and 26 family members. Family and friends can sit in round seats with tables. The windows are blinded so that optimum privacy is guaranteed. Photos and videos can be shown on three screens and music can be played as desired. Of course, a desired route can be driven past favourite goodbye locations. The funeral coach is based on the brand new Van Hool EX11L.

The required modern functionalities such as an extended and weighted lift, a wider central door and a safe coffin attachment are installed to provide a dignified funeral procession.

Royal Beuk has trained its drivers especially for this delicate task and emphasize that their funeral directors consider it an honor to be able to contribute to someone's last journey.
