COST SAVINGS WITH GOODYEAR VECTOR 4SEASONS CARGO
Goodyear introduces a new tire in the light commercial vehicle range. According to Goodyear, the new Vector 4Seasons Cargo is a fuel-efficient four-season tire that combines excellent performance with a long service life.
The Vector 4Seasons Cargo tire is an extension of Goodyears' light truck portfolio, which already consists of the EfficientGrip Cargo summer tire, Cargo UltraGrip 2 winter tire and the new UltraGrip Cargo. The Vector 4Seasons Cargo is the successor of the Cargo Vector 2 four-season tire and offers a short braking distance on all road types - regardless of weather conditions - and improved handling on snow and frozen roads. Goodyear states that drivers will feel safer on both dry and wet roads, thanks to the shortened braking distance and improved stability and control by the Vector 4Seasons Cargo. Fleet managers can also realize a significant cost reduction with this all-season tire, because a seasonal change of tires is not necessary, with Goodyear saying that the new Vector 4Seasons Cargo lasts longer than its predecessor and that the rolling resistance saves on fuel costs.
Goodyear sees the growing van market in both Europe and Asia, which exceeds the share in the consumer segment in terms of growth. In 2013, 10.5% of the entire fleet consisted of vans. Today this number has increased to 10.8% and by 2023 a growth of 10.9% is expected.
The Vector 4Seasons Cargo is available in 16 sizes, with a width varying from 185 to 235, the profiles have a depth ranging from 65 to 80 and a rim size of 14 ", 15" or 16 ".
