The twelve-metre Urbino electrics will be fully air-conditioned and are equipped with a hybrid heating system, involving thermal pre-conditioning to help reduce energy usage in the challenging autumn-winter season. It enables the bus to cover a longer distance on a single charging session. The three Urbino 12 electric buses are to roll out on the streets of Włocławek in October 2019.
In Katowice the transport operator Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Miejskiej (PKM), is expecting its first buses in December 2019. It are Solaris Urbino 12 powered by a 220 kW Euro 6 engine.
