GAZ SHOWED FULL PRODUCT SPECTRUM AT BUSWOLRD RUSSIA
At Busworld Russia, powered by Autotrans, 5,050 visitors passed the stand of GAZ Group. The company had a complete line-up with solutions for transportation of 16 to 200 passengers on city, suburban and intercity routes. To comply with the different emission standards around the world, the GAZ buses can be fitted with various types of engines: diesel, NG and electric.
GAZ Group presented a new generation of buses including the newest development, an electric bus for 85 passengers with ultra-fast charging; this is an new model created for Moscow. The e-bus has the ZF AVE 130 axle with two asynchronous engines with the output of up to 125 kW and lithium-titanate batteries. The ultra-quick charge modular batteries allow e-bus operation on the city routes of any length of even up to 300 km. To ensure passenger comfort and safety, the e-bus is equipped with split climate control, kneeling (tilting towards the bus stop), video surveillance and multiplex control system that ensures remote control of over 300 parameters. The GAZ e-bus is designed to transport up to 85 passengers. including 27 seats, and allows fixing seats for limited-mobility passengers.
Important for the Eastern-European and Asian markets is the Vector NEXT family which welcomes a new member, the NEXT 8.8. A new midibus for public transport. It measures 8,8m were the Vector NEXT is 7.6m long. The NEXT 8.8 has a greater passenger capacity of up to 65, 23 seated instead of 52 people with 19 seats. Both come with an Euro 5 engine. Also for the first time at the exhibition, a GAZelle NEXT 4.6 minibus was shown to transport 22 passengers.
The company also demonstrates LiAZ-6213, Russian longest low-floor bus designed to operate with intensive passenger traffic was also presented. It has a passenger capacity of up to 200 persons. The facelifted version has a new style of front and rear masks new halogen lighting. The bus has a YMZ-536 CNG (312hp).
Cruise 2.0 is a coach by GAZ for tourist and long intercity routes. Cruise has new, exterior parts, new premium-c1ass passenger seats and a modern multimedia system, wifi, AC 40 kW and new passenger control units. The bus is designed for transportation of 51 passengers and a guide. For the first time, a Russian bus is equipped with ADAS including lane keeping, emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. Also Cruise is the first Russian bus with an off-board system for remote diagnostics of the bus.
