The new Goodyear FuelMax tyre range is designed to help save fuel and subsequently reduce CO2-emissions. Advanced tire management technology should help the transport company to meet future emission standards.

The newly developed fuel-saving tire range for heavy commercial vehicles and the advanced tire management solutions will be presented at the IAA. The complete range of data-based Goodyear Proactive solutions uses advanced telematics and patented predictive analysis techniques that help carriers reduce their operating costs and increase safety.
The focus is on a new tire series with Goodyears innovative fuel-saving technology, which helps manufacturers to comply with the increasingly stringent CO2 regulations of the European Union. The technology also reduces the total operating costs for fleets used for long-distance transport in order to optimize tire performance, reduce CO2 emissions, save fuel and improve safety. "New regulations force vehicle manufacturers to be even more innovative in the development of their vehicles, so we are introducing a new range of tires based on our latest technology to further reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and reduce also operating costs of their fleet and maximize their return on investment", said Benjamin Willot, Director of Marketing Commercial Tires at Goodyear Europe.
Goodyear manufactures its products in 48 plants in 22 countries around the world and employs approximately 64,000 people. It also has two innovation centers in Akron, Ohio, and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg.
