GOLDEN DRAGON DELIVERS 270 COACHES TO SAUDI ARABIA
Every year on average two million pilgrims from all over the world will travel to Mecca for the yearly pilgrimage. In 2017 it were even over 2.35 million. With these rising number of pilgrims, Saudi Arabia is facing increasing pressure to provide smooth and high-quality transportation services. Therefor the country ordered 270 luxury coaches at Chinese manufacturer Golden Dragon.
These coaches were delivered last month to Elserag and DMTC, two bus operators in Saudi Arabia. Specifically, these 270 coaches include six units Golden Dragon Navigator and 264 units of the Golden Dragon Triumph. All these vehicles will soon be put into operation to provide transportation services to pilgrims who will visit the yearly pilgrimage from 19 to 23 August.
Having been marketing its bus products in Saudi Arabia for several years, at present Golden Dragon boasts 2,000 units buses in operation in the country. To endure the hot, dry and sandy weather, Golden Dragon buses working in Saudi Arabia have all gone through a number of market-specific adjustments. For example, the interior materials are of a high reinforced quality to withstand the high temperature and high level of ultraviolet rays. In addition, its advanced air-conditioning system is more effective in bringing travel comfort to passengers.
