The tender called for 50 articulated buses and 30 single 12 metre buses for the city’s public transportation.
All buses will be fully low-floor and equipped with air conditioning, monitoring, electronic passenger information and a recuperation system, i.e. energy recovery during braking.

MAN Bus & Truck Polska Sp. z o. o. proposed for the delivery of vehicles a price of PLN 132.3 million (USD 38.13 million). First deliveries will take place in the first half of 2019, after March.

ZTM has also launched a tender calling for a ten-year supply of CNG fuel together with the necessary CNG refueling infrastructure.

It is the biggest single investment in low emission buses thus far for ZTM, which already includes in its fleet 35 Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) buses. By the end of 2020 ZTM will be have a fleet of nearly 300 low-emission or zero-emission vehicles – gas, electric and hybrid.
