Busworld India partners with public and private operators associations
The 8th edition of the biannual professional bus and coach exhibition Busworld India will be powered by the two major bus operator associations in India: ASRTU - Association of State Road Transport Undertakings, the official national body of public transport operators in India and BOCI - Bus Operators Confederation of India, an association that represents the private bus and coach operators.
Both associations will organise their annual conference at Busworld India, inviting their members to Bangalore from the whole of India to attend the congress. The delegates will combine the conferences with an interesting visit of the Busworld exhibition where they can see the latest bus and coach models and other interesting products and services that relate to their business.
Didier Ramoudt, President of Busworld International explained: ”For a good Busworld show, it is necessary to have a right balance between public transport, more focused on buses and tourism and long distance travel which is more focused on coaches. Having two partnerships that reach out to both target groups is nothing less than fantastic for Busworld. Because we all know: one plus one is more than two! For Busworld India this will definitely be a milestone.”
Interads President Rajan Sharma is also excited about these new partnerships: “Of course we are very proud to announce this. It clearly indicates that the operators are on Busworld’s side. We are indeed very honoured with this recognition.”
Busworld India 2018 is organised in the BIEC in Bangalore from 29 till 31 August 2018. More information about the ASRTU and the BOCI conferences will soon be communicated via ASRTU, BOCI and the Busworld channels.
