MG Group, one of India’s largest privately owned bus building companies, is celebrating its 20 years of bus building business in India. The group will be launching its flagship premium luxury coach ‘Mammoth’ for the Indian market on the occasion. A new coach 'Columbus' will also be unveiled during the celebrations slated to be held at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) from 10 to 12 November 2016.

Mammoth has been developed on a chassis from MAN Germany. The chassis is rugged and robust, and caters to the Indian operating conditions with increased driving safety, while significantly reducing body movements for best ride comforts. With a total of eight emergency exits, the bus also includes various safety measures such as no sharp corners, seat belts for every passenger and the EM – Secure rear exit, which is patented as a world first.

MG Group has an annual installed capacity of 16,500 buses and has, since inception, manufactured over 8000 buses across 25 markets globally for export markets. This year, she is celebrating 20 years of Bus Building in India, cooperating with partners like Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, VECV, Tata Motors and MAN.
