The Dutch manufacturer of electric buses Ebusco has delivered a first bus to the municipality of Monaco. It will be used on the city’s busline 100, in the northeastern part of the town. The Ebusco has a length of 12 meters.

The bus gets its energy from a package of lithium ferro phosphate batteries. A brake energy recovery system is also added, feeding the current generated by the brakes back to the battery. Initially, the Ebusco electric bus will be operating in the city on the basis of an experiment, which might be extended if the vehicle holds its promises with regard to its performances and energy consumption.
