Vivacity+, the 8-meter bus produced by BredaMenarinibus, will soon be on the market in a new full-electric version, made in Italy, but with a Dutch heart. BredaMenarinibus has chosen Ebusco to develop and enforce with a full electric traction its midibus. The electrically-driven e-Vivacity will be available on the market from mid-2014, it will premiere on 26 and 28 November in Bologna, at the historical plant of BredaMenarinibus, the Finmeccanica Group company that since more than 90 years is designing and producing vehicles for the local public transport.

According to the manufacturers It will be the perfect bus to cross historic centres as well as small and medium towns and in general it is suitable for every urban context featuring a narrow and difficult road. e-Vivacity+ cleave, to its small size, high load capacity and zero emissions.
The electric driveline is a product by Ebusco, a Dutch company that is located at the High Tech Automotive Campus in Helmond. Ebusco focuses on the development, marketing and sales of full electric buses for the European market. In addition,
existing designs are adapted to the European regulations and the buses are equipped with the systems that the European concessionaires require serving a safe and economically optimal public transport including full European type approval.
