BLAUPUNKT LAUNCHES NEWLY DESIGNED MONITORS FOR COACHES

Press Release Bosch subsidiary Blaupunkt recently launched new on-board monitors and a DVD player designed specifically for use in a coach. In addition, Blaupunkt offers new solutions to enable the connectivity of components from the field of consumer electronics – whether it is an iPod or a USB stick, a Bluetooth cell phone or a camera.
GREYHOUND ORDERS 140 PREVOST COACHES

Greyhound has ordered 140 X3-45 coaches from Volvo-owned Prevost. The new vehicles, which are to be used on various intercity lines, will be delivered from February to July of 2009. The order follows Greyhound’s first transaction with Prevost in spring of 2008. At that time, Greyhound ordered 33 X3-45 vehicles for its newly launched BoltBus operation, providing service between New York and Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, and another 17 X3-45s for its line-haul fleet.
NEW ROMA AND 5000TH BODY FROM MASCARELLO

Mascarello, one of the many smaller Brazilian bodybuilders, renowned for the shape of particularly its coaches, recently launched an improved version of its Roma body for long distance coaches. Besides, she celebrated the delivery of the 5000th bus body since the start of the company in May 2004.

BONLUCK ADOPTED RADAR SENSORS AND THREE-POINT BELTS
Chinese bus manufacturer Bonluck, focusing on markets like the Australian, American and Irish, has adopted radar scanning and three-point safety belts as an option for its export coaches.
