SPANISH COMPANIES JOIN TO GENERATE LNG BUSES
Spanish companies Gas Natural Fenosa, provider of energy services and Carrocera Castrosua SA, builder of buses and coaches have agreed to work collaboratively toward development of hybrid (CNG and electrical) vehicles and LNG-fuelled prototypes suitable for long intercity trips.
NEW VOLVO 9500 COACH LAUNCHED
Volvo Buses is now launching the Volvo 9500, a workhorse with everything that Volvo represents in terms of safety, environmental care and quality. The smaller engine and optimized basic design present more opportunities for customers to conduct cost-efficient operations. It is an addition to the existing Volvo 9700 and Volvo 9900 models.
KING LONG COACHES FOR SAUDI ARABIA
Xiamen King Long United Automobile Industry (Xiamen King Long) loaded 55 luxury coaches onto a vessel bound for Saudi Arabia from Dongdu Port of Xiamen. The vehicles will be consigned to local clients at the destination port.
FORCE MOTORS LOCALISES PRODUCTION OF INTERCITY COACH
MAN Force Motors, which currently makes heavy commercial trucks, will roll out the first of it’s planned inter-city coaches in due course. The inter-city coach has been fully localised and the body is being built by Azad of Jaipur. The bus, like the trucks, will carry the MAN brand.

A 2-axle coach with a length of 12.9 metres and a 3-axle coach that stretches to 13.9 metres are the first models of a modular product family that meets all the requirements of the international touring coach market.
