The new Setra ComfortClass 500 generation of touring coaches sends a very clear message at first glance, according to Setra. The two-axle model S 515 HD, the two- and three-axle S 516 HD and the three-axle S 517 HD will all be launched in the autumn of 2012.

During the Busworld Turkey 2012 Bus Fair held at İstanbul Fair Center. Temsa handed over 10 Safir VIP vehicles to Kamil Koç. The Temsa Safir VIP has a 2+1 seating with 37 seats and an automatic transmission.

MAN FORCE LAUNCHED THEIR 45 SEATER BUS ON THE INDIAN MARKET

MAN Force Trucks unveiled its first offering in the Indian bus segment, the MAN Airobus, a 45 seaters airconditioned intercity coach at the Auto Expo 2012 . The AIROBUS is powered by the 220hp BSIII MAN D08 engine up front, and is fitted with a 6 speed ZF synchromesh gearbox; Meritor axles and a MAN-designed air suspension on both front and rear axles.

MCI ALTERNATIVE-FUELED COMMUTER COACHES FOR LOS ANGELES

The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) recently celebrated the arrival of the first of 95 new Motor Coach Industries (MCI) Commuter Coaches, powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), with a ceremony outside of the Disney Concert Hall. The new buses will be used on LADOT's "Commuter Express" service and replace 95 older, diesel powered buses. The nearly $67 million purchase also makes LADOT's Commuter Express fleet 100% CNG driven, joining its 200 "DASH" shuttle buses, which are already 100% alternatively propelled.
