NAVISTAR SELLS TRUCK AND BUS PARTS VIA AMAZON

  Navistar Parts announced that its PartSmart line of aftermarket truck and bus parts is now being sold through Amazon.com. The PartSmart products, which include a wide range of components such as belts, hoses, brake systems, lighting, alternators, seals and wiper blades, are designed to fit all makes of trucks and buses.

Last September, the shareholders of Fiat approved the demerger of the Group. A new company encompassing the truck, bus (Irisbus), farm machines and construction equipment will be launched on 1st January 2011, named Fiat Industrial.

For operators looking to improve transmission reliability whilst extending drain intervals switching from mineral to synthetic oil would be the way. British operator Plymouth City Bus, with a fleet of over 170 buses, took this step, increasing drain intervals by over three times.
