FIRST CHINESE FUEL CELL BUS PRESENTED AT BUSWORLD ASIA 2008

At the Sunlong stand during the recently held Busworld Asia exhibition Sunlonmg and its partner Shanghai Shen-Li High Tech Co showed the first Chinese fuel-cell bus, prepared for operation in Beijing.
TEMSA TO LAUNCH CITYBUS AND INTERCITY BUS
Temsa, the Turkish bus and coach manufacturer, has plans to unveil a new citybus and an intercity bus during this year. The citybus will probably be shown during the coming Busworld Istanbul exhibition, scheduled for 24 till 26 April 2008. The intercity bus will be launched during the coming Hannover IAA exhibition.
CNG DEVELOPMENTS IN CHINA
China Natural Gas, Inc. a provider of compressed natural gas (CNG) for vehicular fuel in Xi'an, China, has acquired two new CNG filling stations in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province and one compressor station in Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, which has the daily processing capacity of 100,000 to 150,000 cubic meters of CNG.
MORE ZF BUS PARTS OFF TO CHINA
ZF will equip Dongfeng, Kinglong, Huanghai and Yutong buses in Beijing with low-floor axles, steering systems and transmissions, for use during the 2008 Olympic Games. ZF Friedrichshafen has received an order to provide axles and steering systems for 1,300 low-floor buses, belonging to the Beijing Public Transport Corporation (BPTC), as part of the city's implementation of the 'Bus Rapid Transit' (BRT) traffic concept.

He stated that India is amidst a period of enormous organisational and technical changes in the field of public transport, and needed the European know-how in these fields to assist with the implementation of new technologies.
