XIAMEN KING LONG AND YUCHAI MACHINERY SIGN STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT

Chinese engine and automotive components manufacturer Yuchai Machinery, and King Long United Automotive Industry, a bus manufacturer based in Xiamen, in China's Fujian Province, recently concluded a strategic framework agreement, further strengthening the already existing cooperation between the two companies. The agreement was signed by Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Machinery, and Guo Renxiang, general manager of King Long.

FIRST CHINESE EURO 6 ENGINE

The NYSE-listed China Yuchai International’s main operating subsidiary, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company, has produced China's first domestically-developed prototype heavy duty diesel engine compliant with Euro VI emission standards. Test results for the engine, code named YC6L-60, which was jointly developed over four years by Guangxi Yuchai engineers and researchers from Tianjin University's National Key Laboratory of engine combustion, indicate that the NOx and particulate matter emissions of the YC6L-60 were well below Euro VI limits.

GILLIG TO ADD VANNER HYBRID BELTLESS ALTERNATORS TO HYBRID BUSES

Gillig LLC, a national transit bus manufacturer, now offers the Vanner Hybrid Beltless Alternator (HBA) as standard equipment on its hybrid buses. The Vanner HBA replaces the alternator and the associated pulleys and belts.
