Spanish bus manufacturer Sunsudegui has presented the Astral Vía, a new bus concept for urban routes. Designed entirely by the Spanish coach-builder, this vehicle uses the Astral model, the leader on the suburban market, as a basis. The Astral Vía is a new vehicle in terms of both its design and its configuration and materials.

NEW TEMSA AVENUE LAUNCHED IN ARRIVA LIVERY

Turkish busmanufacturer Temsa has a first prototype ready of its new Avenue citybus. The new model will be offered in both low entry and full low floor variants. Low floor variants can have two or three doors and low entry one or two.

NEW FLYER LAUNCHES THE XCELSIOR

New Flyer Industries Inc. introduced the Xcelsior, the customer-centric evolution of the standard transit bus, as the company calls it. Xcelsior is lighter in weight than New Flyer’s current standard bus designs, the difference is about 10%.The lighter weight of the vehicle is expected to immediately deliver improved fuel economy.
