According to reports in the German press Daimler has signed an agreement with Bosch with regard to the joint remanufacturing of diesel fuel systems for trucks and buses. First result of this joint venture is the establishment of North American Fuel Systems Remanufacturing LLC.

PIRELLI DPF PILOT PROJECT LAUNCHED IN BEIJING

The Italian Ministery for the Environment has signed an agreement with the Municipality of Beijing to launch a pilot project in the Chinese capital to test particulate filter technology from Pirelli Eco Technology, a division of tire manufacturer Pirelli.

BASF PARTICULATE FILTERS MAKE HONG KONG’S AIR CLEANER

BASF is supplying diesel particulate filters for over 2,500 Hong Kong transit buses, marking the first large-scale commercial use of diesel particulate filters in the city as part of a diesel retrofit program. It also demonstrates BASF Catalysts’ continued efforts to promote a cleaner environment in Hong Kong with its more than 7 million inhabitants.
