AEC DELIVERS NG PARTS KITS TO WEICHAI IN CHINA
Advanced Engine Components Limited has completed an order for over 300 natural gas vehicle system ("NGVS") kits, which it received from Weifang Weichai Peterson Gas Co Ltd in China, producing engines under the Weichai brand name. The NGVS kits, with a sale value exceeding $1.1 million, were delivered in August/September 2008.

Optare has reworked the Solo, it features a completely new external look and a new interior. This first significant external restyling since the model first entered service in 1998 gives the distinctive Solo an appearance fully in line with a new family look which will be standard on all Optare bus products in future.
