MITSUBISHI FUSO LAUNCHES NEW DOUBLE-DECKER BUS

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. recently launched a new double-decker bus three years after suspending its production of such buses. The new Aero King Highway Liner, the only Japanese-developed double-decker bus, is designed for  comfortable bus journeys on expressways linking large cities.

LI-ION BATTERY POWERED BUSES WILL SERVE OLYMPIC BEIJING

About 50 buses powered by Li-ion battery will be put into service for the Beijing Olympics next year, running a total distance of 10.4 kilometers for athletes and officials, according to a Beijing official.

BANGALORE ORDERS 240 CITY BUSES FROM VOLVO

Volvo Buses has received an order for an additional 240 city buses to Bangalore, India. The 70 Volvo buses already in traffic in the city have enticed many inhabitants to park their cars and take the bus instead.
