Daimler FleetBoard is the first supplier of telematics solutions to offer a fleet management and driving analysis app for the Apple iPhone and iPad. Operators can use it to control their fleet of buses or coaches at any time and from any location. The trip recorder also makes it possible to display the most recent journey made.
UK GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES PROJECT TO EVALUATE HYDROGEN FUEL CELL ELECTRIC VEHICLES

UK Business Minister, Mark Prisk, has announced a project to ensure the country is well positioned for the commercial roll-out of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (HFCEVs). In order to improve local air quality in cities, reduce carbon emissions and meet the UK Government’s carbon reduction targets, the new program, ‘UKH2Mobility’, will evaluate the potential for hydrogen as a fuel for Ultra Low Carbon Vehicles in the UK, before developing an action plan for an anticipated roll-out to consumers in 2014/15.

BEIJING - Opinions were divided among school bus manufacturers at a national conference over proposed standards for the buses, with some complaining that a newly released draft of standards sets the bar too high.
