ANHUI ANKAI VEHICLE SALES SURGE 38.43%
Anhui Ankai Automobile Co Ltd, a state-owned Chinese vehicle maker, sold 879 buses in June 2010, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 38.43%, and its output swelled 35.52% year on year to 847 units, according to statistics released by the firm recently.
Also in June, the Shenzhen-listed firm produced 24 and sold 25 buschassis.
During the first half of the current year, the company's bus output surged 101.1% on a year to year basis, to 4,577 units, while its sales reached 4,552 units. Also recently,
Anhui Ankai Automobile received a supply contract worth RMB 180 million to produce 100 electronic buses for a public transport company in China’s Anhui Province. Anhui Ankai Automobile said that this deal will not have a great impact on its result fro the fiscal year 2010.
