VOITH EXPANDS IN TURKEY
In Turkey, the Conecto series from EvoBus will in the future be driven through Voith's DIWA.5 transmissions. Up to now, the German gearbox manufacturer only offered the DIWA.3e transmissions for the EvoBus singledeckers, including the Conecto G and Conecto Solo models.
Furthermore, the articulated Mercedes-Benz CapaCity, which is nearly 20m long, is now also available with Voith automatic gearboxes as an alternative for ZF, if required by the buyer. For this latter vehicle, Voith developed also the LP700 air compressor.
Additionally, Otokar of Turkey announced that it will use automatic transmissions and axle systems from Voith as basic driveline components for future new models, according to information released during the Busworld Turkey exhibition.
