CHINESE YUTONG GROUP OFFERS MOST FAVOURABLE BID AT MACEDONIAN PROCUREMENT TENDER
China's Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd. (Yutong Group) is the most favourable bidder at a tender for procurement of 302 double-decker buses, the Ministry of Transport and Communications informed. Bids at the tender were also submitted by Turkish Güleryüz company, King Long also from China and the Macedonian Sanos firm.
The most favourable bidder offers a basic price for 302 buses in an amount of Euro 51.000.000 and adequate technical characteristics. The buses will be procured in the next three years following the signing of a public procurement contract, reads the press release.
Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd. is a large-scale enterprise group with bus making as the core business, engineering machinery and real estate as the strategic business and at the same time giving attention to other investment portfolios.
Yutong Group is located in Zhengzhou Industrial Park and now has developed into the largest and most advanced bus manufacturing base in Asia.
Recently, a large-sized bus operator based in Kuwait placed also placed a large order of 175 units for the Yutong ZK6118HGA city bus. The first batch of 75 units has meanwhile been delivered to its customer in the Middle East.
