TEMSA PRESENTS CNG BUS
Turkish bus manufacturer TEMSA presents its first CNG city bus at the 58th UITP World Congress and Mobility & City Transport Exhibit in Vienna. In September 2008, TEMSA already presented its first city bus ever that was customized for the bus operator Arriva UK. TEMSA is demonstrating, less than 10 months later, its capacity to adapt to the market requirements.
The TEMSA AVENUE CNG keeps its original assets: a large capacity and a low empty weight of 11,9 tons thanks to the intelligent use of composite material. These features are now combined with an emission level that will satisfy many urban transportation needs.
With this initiative TEMSA wants to participate into reducing the carbon footprint in general and other environment friendly initiatives.
TEMSA decided to enter the city bus segment with the full range of vehicles that will be required by the contemporary city bus market. Displaying the Diesel EEV on IAA Hannover 2008 and the CNG on UITP 2009, it plans to extend the offer with further alternatives soon.
