DAIMLER INTO REMANUFACTURING

According to reports in the German press Daimler has signed an agreement with Bosch with regard to the joint remanufacturing of diesel fuel systems for trucks and buses. First result of this joint venture is the establishment of North American Fuel Systems Remanufacturing LLC.
Goal of the new company is to remanufacture used diesel components and supply them to large fleets as replacement parts. Both Bosch and Daimler confirmed the founding of the new company. Insiders suggest that it may be the first step for Daimler to broaden its activities and adapting them to a changing worldwide marketplace.
