BUSWORLD EXPANDS INTO SOUTH-AMERICA
After having itself settled successfully on the European market (Kortrijk in Belgium), in the Far-East (Shanghai, China and Mumbai, India) and in the Euro-Asian region (Istanbul in Turkey) during the past few years, the Busworld organisation has now added South-America as a target region to expand into. The first Busworld exhibition in this area is to take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from June 3 to June 5 2009.
The Busworld exhibition formula has evolved into a kind of technology transfer, where end-users are informed about the latest developments with regard to rolling equipment, components, environmental measures, the use of hi-tech planning and scheduling systems, integrating various types of transportation into custom-made networks. It is the place where new products are introduced to specialists who are able to evaluate their influence on day-to-day transport activities.
Though the South-American region has its own needs, the fulfilment of these needs is carried out with equipment that is basically using the same components and techniques as in the rest of the world. Solutions from these parts of the world could be adopted for local use in one of the South-American countries, and can be expected among the exhibits during this first South-American Busworld exhibition.
