BREDAMENARINI VIVACITY HAS DEUTZ EEV ENGINE
German engine manufacturer Deutz is able to deliver it’s vehicles diesel engines in an EEV version – one of the first OEM’s to use it is the Italian bus manufacturer Bredamenarini, who installs them in their Vivacity buses. Except with diesel engines, they are also available with a CNG engine.
Vivacity represents the ideal bus range to cross historic centres as well as small and medium towns and in general it is suitable for every urban context featuring a narrow and difficult road network. The new Vivacity represents a successful evolution of a model in which the internal and external restyling harmoniously flows in a family feeling easily identified with the company brand. Vivacity joins the reduced dimensions with a great passenger capacity and the low fuel consumption of the new Deutz engine 4 cylinders complying with the EEV emission limits. A new driver cabin, developed according to the ISO-VDV standards and shared with the Avancity range, makes work for the bus driver easier, by improving comfort, visibility and safety. On the new Vivacity an advanced electronic installation has been introduced using a printed circuit board technology (PCB). This improves the bus functions, while at the same time simplifying diagnostic and monitoring of all the systems onboard.
