OTOKAR TAKES OVER PRODUCTION OF THE IVECO EUROBUS
Otoyol and Otokar, the leading commercial vehicle companies within the Koç Holding, recently signed an agreement for the production of the Iveco Eurobus midibuses at Otokar plant in Adapazarı. Before, they were built by Otoyol.
According to the manufacturing agreement signed, Otokar will supply Iveco Eurobus midibuses to Otoyol, which is a joint venture of Koc Holding and Iveco. Otokar will add the production of the Eurobus to its existing manufacturing facilities in the company’s Adapazarı plant. Under the terms of the agreement, Otokar will manufacture IVECO Eurobus midibuses in addition to its own bus brands.
Otoyol will remain in charge of marketing, sales and distribution of Iveco Eurobus midibuses, as a marketing company who also offers all other Iveco models, imported from Europe. More facts about this shift of production will probably become available during the coming Busworld Istanbul exhibition.
