PRODUCTION OF BREDAMENARINIBUS LANDER HAS STARTED
BredaMenarinibus last year decided to return in the intercity bus market which in the past was one of its traditional point of strength. They developed the new Lander, which is available as a 12-meter unit for regional transport. The design is very much similar to that of the othet current BredaMenarinibus
The engine used is an MAN D 2066 unit, 10,5 litres of displacement, delivering 350 Hp of power and 1750 Nm torque, and featuring the EGR-PMKat system to cut the exhaust emissions. This technology does not use any additive and makes easier the bus use also in the suburban and intercity service. The driving cabin complies with the ergonomic standards ISO-VDV, makes the bus driving easier, by improving comfort, visibility and safety, also allowing a quick acquaintance to those customers who already use BredaMenarinibus city bus. Disc brakes on both axles with EBS, independent suspensions, Multiplex electric installation, possibility to mount a wheelchair lifter complete the technical card of this new bus. Most chassis components are acquired from ZF; the empty weight of the vehicle is 12,800 kgs.
