PLASTISOL DEVELOPS SYNTHETIC SUPERSTRUCTURE FOR MINIBUSES
The latest development within the Plastisol programme is a superstructure in particular for the transport of groups of persons. Recently the first module for 16 passengers was delivered to TVAC, a British busbuilder.
The flexibility of both production method and material as well as the vehicle knowledge available at Plastisol enable us to supply superstructures for almost any type of chassis-cab and number of passengers.
Plastisol produces bodies made from GRP, which stands for Glass-fibre Reinforced Polyester. This composition of materials is realized in a vacuum injection process developed by Plastisol itself. The glass fibre material, either or not in combination with foam cores, is injected with resin. After curing an exceedingly strong sandwich of materials results, that can subsequently be treated with for instance paint in any desired colour.
