BEIJING TO ADD 3000 NATURAL GAS BUSES TO ITS FLEET

The Beijing Public Transport Group recently announced that 3155 new clean-energy buses would be added to its fleet during 2013.

In 2012, 839 conventional buses were replaced by environmentally-friendly buses, including 249 Nation V diesel buses and 590 LNG city buses. In 2013, the Group will purchase 3155 more LNG city buses, making its total fleet of natural gas buses growing to 5681 units.
